Ten Commandments

I watched what was by far the strangest Family Feud question of all time. The question was "out of the ten commandments, how many have you broken in the past month" MONTH!! So, first guy said "zero" .... over a dozen people out of 100 had said that. Uhh.. are you crazy???? We all break a commandment daily. Then the girl said "nine" and the host laughed at her -- the survery said zero out of 100 said nine. Nine is actually quite accurate, most of us break all nine in a month with the exception of murder. However if wishing one dead, close enough ehh.

Let's go over the big ten and how we break them.

1. No other gods before me
we worship the TV and the computer, some (not me but many) worship porn
2. No graven image
again, the TV and the computer... cars, toys, money
3. Do not take God's name in vain
Are you KIDDING me? People do this ALL THE TIME!!!
4. Keep Sabbath holy.
Check your credit/debit card for Sunday.
5. Honor parents.
OK, this one might be less 'broken' than others
6. No killing
Again, not broken as much
7. No adultery
Now keep in mind, this includes sexual fantasy against your spouse, or towards anyone when single. Basically if one is fantasizing and it isn't their spouse, adultery there we are.
8. No stealing
Have you gone on limewire lately?
9. No false witness against your neighbor
Do we love other people as much as ourself?
10. No covet
We all do this, all the time

By no way am I being holier than thou or anything --- I am trying to say, we humans sin. A lot. We break these commandments. Only by the grace of the Lord and by Jesus are we forgiven.

I'm sorry for the lots of people who ignore God's commandments. Those 10 laws are about LOVE.
