Wimbledon

2009 Wimbledon has begun, the 3rd of the opens. Nadal still the number one seed, can he win two in a row? Last year's Nadal vs. Federer has been agreed on as one of the best matches of all time, if not THE best match of all time. I think it was the best match of all time. Records broken, two of the all time greats, neck and neck the whole time, five sets all night long. This year would be different without the rain delays. They have a closable roof now, so rain delays will not cause matches to go until 2am anymore.

I did not see the first round Blake match, first match is usually just for fun as the seeds win. So I saw the highlights. Even though this is the first match we had quite an odd day. If you like tennis catch the highlights.

So we start with a tie-break where Blake was winning by 5 to 0 in tie break. He then lost every point for the remainder of the tie break. He lost 7 to 5. Seppi beat him in the first set. OK, second set, Blake lost. 3rd set, Blake lost. Blake's seed was 17 though he lost 3 straight sets. Oh well, two years in a row of 1st round loss at Wimbledon. Go Marty Fish!
